ABOUT PADALABS SUMMER INTENSIVE
The PADALABS Summer Intensive is a 10-day advanced design workshop focused on AI-driven design, parametric methodologies, and future-thinking approaches. This is not a software training—it’s a highly experimental and creative design experience, led by renowned industry experts and guest lecturers.
Participants will engage in cutting-edge methodologies, learning how to integrate AI, computational design, and sustainability-driven strategies into their workflows.
Guest lecturers include leading architects, designers, computational thinkers, and AI specialists from top institutions and global firms. (Full list to be announced soon.)
ABOUT THE COURSE
PADALABS Summer Intensive is a high-impact, project-based design workshop exploring AI-powered design, parametric workflows, and computational creativity. Designed for students, professionals, and creatives, this 10-day program offers an immersive, hands-on studio experience focusing on real-world applications and future-ready design solutions.
Participants will work with AI tools, parametric modeling, and generative design techniques, developing a complete project that can be used in their portfolio. The workshop includes expert lectures, hands-on studio sessions, and a final jury with leading industry professionals.
SHORT COURSE DESCRIPTION
A 10-day intensive workshop exploring AI-driven design, parametric methodologies, and computational creativity. Participants will use Midjourney, Grasshopper, Processing, Rhino, Maya, Adobe Suite, and D5 to develop a future-ready project in a collaborative studio format. Available in-person (Istanbul) or online (global access), with recordings for flexible learning. No prior experience needed. Certificate provided upon completion. Main Language will be English.

Begüm Aydınoğlu Yurdakul, M.Arch AADRL
Begüm Aydınoglu Yurdakul is an internationally recognized award winning architect, designer, and researcher working at the intersection of art, architecture, AI, and computational design. With a background from the Architectural Association’s Design Research Lab (DRL) in London, she has led numerous advanced design workshops worldwide, including collaborations with leading universities, research institutions, and technology firms.
Begüm is the founder of and the principal of BEGA Architects, known for its cutting-edge approach to design, technology, and innovation. Her expertise spans parametric design, generative AI, and future-forward methodologies shaping the next evolution of design thinking. She is also co-founder of ILLUSORR a virtual design company based in Dubai.
She has been lecturer at Istanbul Bilgi University over the 5 years
